The Saints are proud to be a signatory to the Women & Girls Community Football Charter
We have committed to the Women & Girls Charter in 2026 - we have a realistic and pragmatic action plan to improve participation of women and girls at the Saints. We have a high number of female committee members already to help drive our club in the right direction. We are looking for dedicated female footy leaders who are interested in developing a girls football program at our club.

The Saints are backing girls footy, so is the AFL and EDFL
There is an exciting focus coming in football, the AFL and Community Sports Organizations like the EDFL want greater representation of women and girls in Aussie Rules Football, and if the way AFLW has taken off is a sign of things to come, we can't wait to see what we can achieve in this space in grass roots football.
It's an exciting time for girls footy and we want to have as many teams as we can in the competition.

Here at the Saints, we are a club focused on family values and being the best junior only football club in the area. We want to be known for fostering local girls talent and for starting something special here in Oak Park.
You'll feel safe knowing you will be supported with a majority female leadership team - we don't run a boys club here.
We don't have cultural issues that some seniors clubs have which may prevent girls or their parents from feeling safe and comfortable to join a footy club. We are a friendly, non-threatening, kind and supportive club. Run by women and a few blokes too. We have a fantastic female coach to foster an even greater gender balance in our coaching staff.

The Saints have kids from all walks of life and we love how diverse we are. We welcome all levels of ability and work to bring out the best in each child. building confidence and resilience as we go along.
We don't tolerate bullying or poor behaviour of any kind. (Not to brag..) but we don't have any either. At the Saints we all protect and represent the image of our club and our reputation as a fair and kind team in the competition.
