About Us

The Saints are a proud, family focused junior football club with a long history in our community

The Saints were established in 1966 and were originally the local school parish football team. Times have moved on and although we still have junior footy members from the local St Francis de Sales Primary School in Oak Park, we also have a growing diverse junior football community with kids that travel to us from all over Melbourne's Western and North Western suburbs.

The Saints are a safe and inclusive club and we welcome all kids to our club. We know our club is the best environment for kids and parents to enjoy and grow. Our families are respectful, hard working and most importantly focused on developing the kids in their football journey.

We do things differently to senior clubs

Because we are a Junior only football club, all membership fees contribute directly to developing our kids skills and helping them be the best players they can be. Our volunteer coaches are are experienced at building on important skills and getting the best out of each player. At the Saints no one is left behind and everyone gets a fair go.

Great Value

We don't charge excessive fees to join our club. We want football to remain accessible to all. At the Saints, you'll pay a once off low annual membership to play for the season.

The only other costs you'll have is your match day uniform, your football boots and mouth guard.

Team Players

Here at the Saints, we have a great vibe going! We are building something special and we want to attract more like minded families to join us and help us grow.

We train each Wednesday night at our modern facilities at the Oak Park Sports & Aquatic Centre. To save our mums and dads cooking we offer dinner each week for purchase from our Saints Canteen. We encourage families to enjoy dinner together in our modern club rooms to build our community and raise funds for the club.

Diversity and Inclusion

The Saints have kids from all walks of life and we love how diverse we are. We welcome all levels of ability and work to bring out the best in each child, building confidence and resilience as we go along.
